Is it complicated to set up?
No. Sign up, add a property, photos and rates — 5 to 10 minutes max. No technical skills needed. If you have a website, embedding the widget takes copying 2 lines of code.
Can I keep Airbnb or Booking alongside?
Yes, fully. caribBook syncs your calendar with Airbnb, Booking.com and others via iCal so you avoid double bookings. Many hosts use the platforms for acquisition and caribBook to build guest loyalty.
Who pays the Stripe fees?
Stripe fees (1.5% + €0.25 in Europe) come out of the amount collected, exactly as if you used Stripe directly. caribBook adds nothing — no hidden fees, no payment markup.
What if the guest card is declined when capturing the balance?
You get an email immediately. caribBook automatically retries on D+1 and D+3 in case of temporary issues (insufficient funds). You can also send a manual payment link to the guest from your dashboard.
Can I cancel my subscription whenever?
Yes, no commitment. You can cancel or downgrade to Free at any time from your dashboard. Your data stays intact and your guests still see their existing bookings.
And the tourist tax — who handles it?

Which territories does caribBook cover?
caribBook is built for the French West Indies and French Guiana: Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Martin (French side), Saint-Barthélemy and French Guiana. The product reflects the local reality — seasonality, cyclone season, DROM-COM tax framework, French- and English-speaking guests. We don't cover mainland France, Réunion, or markets outside the Caribbean.
